Hierdie departement het tans nie eens &apos;n permanente departementshoof nie.<\/p>\n<p>Benewens die groot hoeveelheid vakatures, dra die swak beskikbaarheid van medikasie en chirurgiese diverse toerusting ook by tot die eise.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens die jongste kwartaalverslag van 2022\/23 het die mediese depot in Middelburg nie ten alle tye ten minste 95% voorraad beskikbaar gehad nie.<\/p>\n<p>Die algemene persentasie mediese voorraad was maar &apos;n skamele 84%. Dit het gelei tot vertragings met aflewerings by klinieke en hospitale.<\/p>\n<p>Dieselfde verslag dui aan dat 226 mediese geriewe in die provinsie dringende herstelwerk en onderhoud benodig terwyl twee klinieke heeltemal vervang moet word.<\/p>\n<p>Dit is duidelik dat die departement die afgrond in bestuur word.<\/p>\n<p>Die regerende party voldoen nie aan sy grondwetlike plig om behoorlike gesondheidsorg aan die mense van Mpumalanga te voorsien nie.
