Gemoedere by di&#xE9; vergadering het hoog geloop weens die munisipale bestuur se dubbele standaarde en swak bestuurspraktyke.<\/p>\n<p>Die munisipaliteit se bestaande armlastigheidsbeleid maak reeds voorsiening vir inwoners wat nie water kan bekostig nie. Alle inwoners wat in omliggende gebiede woon, kwalifiseer egter nie daarvoor nie en die munisipaliteit sal nooit sy invorderingskoers kan lig indien almal nie oor dieselfde kam geskeer word nie.<\/p>\n<p>In &#x2018;n amptelike antwoord op &#x2018;n vraag van die VF Plus in die Vrystaatse wetgewer is bevestig dat 1458 watermeters ge&#xEF;nstalleer sal word teen einde November vanjaar. Gegewe die hoeveelheid huishoudings in die munisipaliteit, laat dit veel te wense oor.<\/p>\n<p>Mafube se invorderingskoers is tans &#x2018;n skamele 11% en hy skuld die departement van water en sanitasie sowat R270 miljoen.
