Pieter Mulder, leier van die VF Plus.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mulder s&#xEA; indien daar nie dringend op hoogste vlak ingegryp word nie, kan dit lei tot die verdere verslegting van rasseverhoudinge en die land se ekonomie.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8216;n brief aan die speaker van die parlement, Baleka Mbete, s&#xEA; dr. Mulder die saak is uiters dringend en dat dit &#x2018;onmiddellik&#x2019; op die ordelys geplaas moet word.<\/p>\n<p>Die brief lui voorts die toenemende rassespanning en &#x2013;konflik in Suid-Afrika, en in die besonder by universiteits-kampusse, lei tot groot onstabiliteit wat nadelig is vir die ekonomie, onderwys en dienslewering, en die parlement moet dit bespreek op soek na oplossings.<\/p>\n<p>&#x201C;Waar ons tans probeer om vertroue in die ekonomie te herstel ten einde beleggings van die buiteland te lok, is die beelde van brandende universiteitsgeboue en vegtende studente baie sleg vir Suid-Afrika se beeld in die buiteland.<\/p>\n<p>&#x201C;Die parlement en alle politieke partye het nou hierdie geleentheid om leiding te gee deur middel van so &#8216;n debat,&#x201D; s&#xEA; dr.
