Roerende bates behels gewoonlik voertuie wat gebruik word om belangrike dienste te lewer.<\/p>\n<p>Met die beslaglegging op die munisipaliteit se bankrekeninge kan geen dienste betaal word, onderdele aangekoop word of salarisse betaal word nie.<\/p>\n<p>Die VF Plus is van mening dat Eskom, die nasionale tesourie, die Gautengse en nasionale departement vir samewerkende regering en tradisionele sake (Cogta), jare gelede al moes ingegryp het.<\/p>\n<p>Die munisipaliteit moes to&#xE9; reeds gedwing gewees het om sy skuld aan die kragvoorsiener en Randwater te betaal.<\/p>\n<p>Die munisipaliteit se totale uitstaande skuld aan Eskom beloop tans R5,3 miljard.<\/p>\n<p>Eskom het reeds &#8216;n dagvaarding van R3,5 miljard aan die munisipaliteit gestuur. Die aansoek sal vroeg volgende jaar aangehoor word.<\/p>\n<p>Dit sluit die R1,3 miljard uit wat die hooggeregshof Eskom in Oktober gemagtig het om in te vorder.<\/p>\n<p>Die Gautengse departement van Cogta se intervensie het geen positiewe uitwerking gehad nie.
