Die regering se salarisrekening is buitensporig, onvolhoubaar en stuur op ‘n krisis af. Die topbestuur is buitensporig groot en hulle verdien buitensporige salarisse. Tog word daar nie behoorlike dienste gelewer nie.<\/p>\n

Selfs met hierdie reuse salarisse is die amptenare oënskynlik steeds onbevoeg om hul werk te doen en raadgewers en konsultante word dan teen ewe groot vergoedingspakkette aangestel om hulle werk vir hulle te doen.<\/p>\n

Ministers en adjunkministers stel politieke amptenare in hul kantore teen geweldige hoë salarisse aan. Wanneer ‘n kabinetskommeling plaasvind, word hierdie persone dan na afdelings gestuur waar hulle geensins aangewend kan word nie. Daar is talle voorbeelde van hoëvlak-amptenare wat geen bydrae tot dienslewering lewer nie aangesien hulle bloot politieke aanstellings was.<\/p>\n

Die regulasie wat bepaal dat senior bestuurslede hul belange moet verklaar word in baie gevalle nagekom, maar die vraag is wat word met hierdie inligting gedoen. Wie vergelyk dit jaar op jaar om vas te stel of daar enige onreëlmatighede is rakende die amptenare se bates en geldelike vermoë? Dit gebeur nie.<\/p>\n

Daar moet weggedoen word met die gebruik om amptenare om politieke redes aan te stel, veral op senior bestuursvlak.<\/p>\n

Die regering spog baie dat hy optree teen amptenare wat sake met die regering doen. Dit is egter ‘n skande dat dit ooit in die eerste plek toegelaat is om te gebeur. Dit is ook nie uitgeroei nie en gebeur steeds. Van hulle is steeds in hoë poste in die regerende party, soos sy sekretaris-generaal Ace Magashule.<\/p>\n

Die ANC moet sonder meer van hom ontslae raak as hy wil wys dat hy erns het oor die uitroei van korrupsie.<\/p>\n
