"Die nuut voorgestelde mediumtermyn begroting vir die tydperk tot 2021 doen nie veel om die kernprobleme in die provinsie aan te spreek en te verbeter nie," sê Tammy Wessels, VF Plus LPW in die Vrystaat.<\/p>\n

Sy sê die vermindering deur nasionale tesourie in voorwaardelike toekennings van R892 miljoen is uiters kommerwekkend, aangesien sodanige toekennings aangewend word om infrastruktuur-ontwikkeling en instandhouding te doen en bevorder.<\/p>\n

"Die landbousektor het ten spyte van ‘n afname in landbou-aktiwiteite steeds daarin geslaag om duisende werke te skep"<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wessels sê die swak finansiële bestuur en gebrek aan behoorlike kontroles en vaardighede in ons departemente en munisipaliteite het egter tot gevolg gehad dat die provinsie nou byna R1 miljard verloor, omdat dit nie behoorlik aangewend is nie.<\/p>\n

"Die 13 000 werksgeleenthede wat die afgelope tyd deur die landbousektor geskep is, staan in skrille kontras teen die regering se onlangse populistiese en opruiende grondonteieningsuitsprake.<\/p>\n

"Die landbousektor het ten spyte van ‘n afname in landbou-aktiwiteite steeds daarin geslaag om duisende werke te skep, wat nie die geval sal wees in ‘n provinsie met ‘n hoë werkloosheidskoers indien die regering toegelaat word om voort te gaan met sy absurde onteieningsplan nie.<\/p>\n

"Die begroting getuig, soos in die verlede, van die regerende party se verkeerde prioriteite en selfdienende neigings. ‘n Duidelike bewys is die toekenning van R611 miljoen aan die departement van die premier, wat byna R200 miljoen meer is as die R443 miljoen aan die departement van samewerkende regering wat in beheer van die Vrystaat se sukkelende munisipaliteite staan," sê Wessels.<\/p>\n

Die VF Plus sou eerder wou sien dat die Vrystaatse tesourie hulpbron-toekenning op die provinsie se sukkelende munisipaliteite fokus, asook op die departement van gesondheid, waar die gemeenskap van die Vrystaat op voetsoolvlak die kwesbaarste en afhanklikste is van die regering.<\/p>\n

"In stede daarvan moes tesourie water uit ‘n klip tap deur ‘n reeds verminderde begroting verder te rek deur voorsiening te maak vir die ANC se ondeurdagte beloftes van gratis tersiêre onderrig.<\/p>\n

"Die begroting is nie ‘n begroting in die beste belang van die mense van die Vrystaat nie. Dit is ‘n begroting met die doel om die ANC in hul verkiesingsveldtog in 2019 te steun," sê Wessels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
