"President Cyril Ramaphosa systap in sy repliek na die staatsrede steeds die grootste probleem in Suid-Afrika, naamlik korrupsie deur nie te reageer op die vrae wat die VF Plus Dinsdag hieroor aan hom gestel het nie," sê dr. Pieter Groenewald, VF Plus-leier.<\/p>\n

"Hy wou ook nie antwoord op ’n direkte vraag oor moontlike presidensiële kwytskelding aan oud-president Jacob Zuma nie.<\/p>\n

"Dit beteken dit is wel op die kaarte, veral ná die besoek van die minister van polisie, Bheki Cele, aan Zuma by sy woning Nkandla.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

"Indien die president kwytskelding nie oorweeg het nie, kon hy eerlik daaroor gewees het deur reguit te sê Zuma gaan nie kwytgeskeld word nie. Kwytskelding aan Zuma sou vir die VF Plus totaal onaanvaarbaar wees."<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

"Dit is ook ironies dat die president praat van nasiebou en dat die land se uitdagings oorwin sal word indien al die mense saamstaan. In dié verband het hy genoem dat toerisme die ruggraat is van die heropbou van die land se ekonomie.<\/p>\n

"Tog het ek pertinent in my reaksie op die staatsrede verwys na die toerisme-ekwiteitsfonds waarvan wittes uitgesluit word.<\/p>\n

"Hoe kan die president verwag almal moet saamstaan om die land se uitdagings die hoof te bied terwyl daar teen wittes in die besonder en teen ander minderhede gediskrimineer word?<\/p>\n

"In Kwa-Zulu Natal is Indiërs byvoorbeeld uitgesluit om deel te neem aan ’n motorveiling terwyl die groot aantal bruin kinders van die Hoërskool Brackenfell ontwrig is deur protesoptredes van die EFF wat die president goedgepraat het.<\/p>\n

"Dit is duidelik dat president Ramaphosa nie verantwoordbaar is teenoor die parlement nie. Dit is waarom daar oor twee dae ’n debat in die parlement gevoer is oor sy staatsrede."<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

"Tog het hy vandag nie na een opposisieparty se direkte opmerking verwys nie buiten om te sê almal in die land moet saamstaan.<\/p>\n

"Reeds in 2018 toe Ramaphosa president geword het, het ek in my toespraak namens die VF Plus my hand uitgesteek na hom en selfs in Zoeloe gepraat deur te sê twee hande “was beter as een”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

"Dit was ’n simboliese manier om te sê die mense wat die VF Plus verteenwoordig, sal saamstaan en saamwerk om die land op te bou. Tog gaan die diskriminasie teen minderheidsgroepe net voort."<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

"Die land se probleme sal op hierdie manier nie opgelos word nie, al is die vermoë en die potensiaal daar om van Suid-Afrika ’n wen-land te maak.<\/p>\n

"Dit sal egter nie gebeur met ’n ANC-regering wat ANC-ideologie nastreef en eerder in belang van die ANC as party optree as in die belang van Suid-Afrika nie.<\/p>\n
